Reviewing Devcon 2024, DePIN and MEMO
I. MEMO’s appearance at Devcon 2024
In November 2024, Thailand welcomed Devcon 2024, an event in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space. this annual event not only gathered industry giants such as Vitalik Buterin, the founder of ethereum, but also attracted global attention. In this feast of technology and ideas, MEMO, as a representative of the modular data layer, actively participated in a number of workshops on DePIN and Web3 Economy.
II. In-depth discussion of DePIN, AI and the Web3 economy
At Devcon 2024, MEMO not only demonstrated the technical strength of the modular data layer, but also participated in a number of keynote discussions with many top project teams and KOLs to discuss DePIN, the future of AI, and how decentralized technology is shaping the new face of the Web3 economy, among many other topics.
In the AI keynote session, MEMO specifically highlighted the critical role of decentralized storage networks in supporting AI model training and inference. We showed how MEMO’s modular data layer can provide AI algorithms with the large-scale datasets they need while ensuring security and privacy in data processing.
And how the DePIN network should realize the efficient processing and analysis of data to provide strong support for the development of AI technology. A series of issues such as how to achieve more efficient allocation and utilization of resources through DePIN network were explained in detail.
In our in-depth discussion of the Web3 Economy, we focus on how decentralized technologies are revolutionizing the traditional economic model, driving the democratization of data and the fair distribution of value. How more efficient allocation of resources and automated execution of transactions can be achieved through decentralized applications (dApps) and smart contracts, thereby reducing transaction costs and increasing the efficiency of economic activities, is discussed.
In the Web3 economy, users have full control over their data and can choose to share or retain it, thus ensuring that their personal privacy is protected while at the same time gaining corresponding returns from the commercialization of their data. This model not only enhances users’ rights and interests, but also provides a new business model for data collection and utilization.
The active participation and lively discussions not only added depth to the conference, but also provided new ideas and directions for the future development of the Web3 economy. Together we foresee a more open, transparent and inclusive economic system.
III. Overview of MEMO
MEMO, as an innovator of modular data layer, its main business covers a wide range of personal and enterprise data backup, application caching, cloud server deployment, etc. MEMO’s technology is characterized by its modular data layer, which is a layered architecture of storage, processing and data availability layers, each with its own role, greatly enhancing the scalability and security of the network as well as reducing the cost. In addition, MEMO realizes seamless connection with mainstream public chains such as Ethernet through advanced data middleware and interoperability protocols.
In the DePIN space, MEMO effectively supports the data storage and processing needs of IoT devices through decentralized nodes, driving the development of smart infrastructure. The decentralized nature of MEMO allows computational tasks to be executed on the device closest to the data source, dramatically improving responsiveness and computational efficiency.
With the continuous progress of AI technology, MEMO will play an even more important role in empowering DePIN and promoting AI development, contributing to the construction of a smarter, more efficient and open data storage ecosystem.
